Towergate Home and Protect are constantly reviewing their insurer relationships to ensure we obtain the most favourable terms and conditions for our intermediaries and clients. 

With effect from the 1^st April 2010 Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc will no longer form part of the Towergate Home and Protect insurer panel, however we are pleased to announce that we have secured an agreement to retain identical terms with Equity Red Star who will replace the schemes previously underwritten by Royal Sun Alliance.

Quotations with inception dates up to the 31^st March 2010 will continue to be placed with Royal Sun Alliance and from 1^st April 2010 cover will be placed with Equity Red Star. With effect from 1^st April 2010 the underwriter for existing business will be transferred at renewal from Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc to Equity Red Star and this change will be outlined in the renewal documentation issued to our policyholders.
